Add your photos, videos and music

  1. Connect your MemoryPearl to your Windows or Mac computer with the included USB cable.
  2. A drive appears on your computer. Inside it are three folders: Photos, Videos and Music.
  3. Copy your files into the matching folder. You can load up to about 3.6GB of videos, photos or music.
  4. Disconnect it and wait. Decoding new images takes 30 seconds to 1 minute. Larger files take longer.

Tips: Music plays together with your photos, as the soundtrack to the slideshow. For the sharpest results, use photos that match the screen's resolution (480 × 480).

Troubleshooting

A video won't play, or it lags

Convert it with our step-by-step guide: Videos won't play or lag.

Music doesn't play

Music plays together with photos. Make sure there are photos in the Photos folder as well as files in the Music folder.

My computer doesn't show the drive

Unplug the cable and plug it back in, or try a different USB port. Use the included cable, since some cables only charge and can't transfer files.

It's full

The original MemoryPearl holds about 3.6GB. Delete some files from the Photos, Videos or Music folders to make room.

Care and safety

  • Disconnect the power when you won't be using it for a long time.
  • Before using it, check that your power source matches the required voltage (5V).
  • Under normal use the power supply can get warm. Keep the area well ventilated.
